[IT Donga X SBA Joint Project] IT Donga and the Seoul Business Agency (SBA) present the “Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project.”
The project highlights promising startups that are making their mark in 10 cutting-edge fields expected to lead Korea’s future, while also showcasing their joint growth with demand companies and the tangible results that follow.

The Seoul Business Agency (SBA), together with POSCO Group, has selected five startups in the eco-friendly sector to participate in the “Link-up Program” of the Super Gap 1000+ Project.

The Link-up Program is part of the Super Gap 1000+ Project overseen by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development, and is organized by SBA. The program selects startups in five categories—future mobility, physical AI robotics, robotics, eco-friendly, and energy—and provides open innovation opportunities with large corporations. Within this framework, POSCO Group has chosen five capable eco-friendly startups and will provide them with multifaceted support.

The selected companies (with their collaboration project themes) are:

  • Green Mineral: Development of lithium recovery technology using eco-friendly recycling technology
  • Carbon T&C: Development of aqueous CNT and graphene coating technology for lithium secondary battery cathode and anode materials
  • Framto Inc.: Development of current collectors for next-generation lithium metal batteries
  • EverIndus: Development of a pilot process for low-cost sodium-ion battery electrode materials
  • The Carbon Studio: Development of mesoporous carbon materials for solid-state batteries

The startups collaborating with POSCO Group will receive support in various areas, including:

  • Technology development
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) support
  • Equipment and technology certification
  • Investment connections
  • Commercialization support
  • Follow-up support

As part of follow-up support, outstanding startups will also be provided with access to manufacturing space and facilities in Gwangyang, Jeollanam-do.

SBA stated:

“The startups selected for the Link-up Program will pursue open innovation with large companies for about five months. They will be provided with up to KRW 100 million in PoC funding, as well as support for joint technology development and commercialization.”
